If you’re finding answers to these questions then my friend, your at the right place !
Answer
I believe that Naruto will not die in Boruto !
Let’s take a look at Dialogue of Boruto with Kawaki.
Boruto; "I didn't think you'd go this far Kawaki"
Kawaki; "I'll send you where I sent Seventh Hokage, Boruto"
Boruto; "Was this the only possible outcome"
Kawaki; "Yes that's right"
Kawaki; “The age of Shinobi, is over!”
Boruto;"I am, still a Shinobi"
(Wearing his Headband)
There is something to notice, the choice of words explain it all. Naruto is literally Not Dead !
In my opinion Naruto is not dead because Kawaki said “ I’ll send Boruto where he sent the Seventh Hokage “.
Anime producers would not want to lose their audience purely gathered from the Naruto & Naruto Shippuden anime. There is no point killing Naruto because anime will immediately go down in rating as it was based on Naruto Generation which gathered viewers for Boruto: Naruto’s Next Generation anime.
If Naruto was dead then Boruto would not talk to Kawaki so calmly as he does !
Its not sure what comes next, But Naruto is the main character or whole series and the whole audience of boruto is from naruto anime, a lot of people watch boruto to take a look on naruto’s generation. killing naruto will get them a loss of huge fan base.
The reason of this can be to make the audience pay attention to character of boruto as instead of Naruto in fight , afterall its the boruto anime.
Here we don’t know if naruto has been killed, after all Naruto ( The lord Seventh ) is not someone you can mess and get away with so easily, He’s got a character , a legend who’s surpassed all Shinobi, even all hokages.
There is a great possibility that naruto may have been sent somewhere in another dimension sent by kawaki , trapped or it can be something else ( This is just what my opinion is )
