Why Jiraiya was not there during Nine Tails attack ?

In the whole series of Naruto and Naruto Shippūden, Jiraiya was always shown travelling here and there for gathering intel on groups like Akatsuki and in search of villains. Basically travelling for the safety of hidden leaf village from multiple perspectives. Jiraya never stayed at any constant destination, even when he visited hidden leaf he reported about the intel to hokage and was gathering information for his book to publish ! That’s the main reason why Jiraya was not present there at the time of kurama’s (Nine Tails) attack at hidden leaf.

Why Orochimaru was not present in Hidden Leaf for help during Nine Tails Attack ?

Well, Orochimaru is the very reason of many fights in whole Naruto series !

Lady Tsunade was somewhere far from hidden leaf Village wandering here and there, she quit as a Shinobi and was living far away from it. Because she had lost her Brother and BoyFriend as they were both Shinobi of Hidden Leaf Village. She had memories of them which always triggered when she faced blood of Shinobi, to stay away from this role she stayed away from it and retired as Shinobi. It’s is only due to other Sanin Jiraya that she later on became a hokage and returned to help hidden leaf.
